Defending a Super Move event
With an activated Super Move, a cutscene shows the attack in all its glory. Whether it’s Superman smashing his opponents through the sky, similar to that man of Steel Movie, or Flash using his super speed to attack his opponents with time and space, these moves are an awe-inspiring sight.
However, instead of just sitting back and letting the cutscene play out, the defending player plays can reduce the damage of a Super Move inflicted on them. Tapping the X button during in-scene attacks will activate a shield icon to indicate damage reduction. For example, during Superman’s scene, the defending player must press X twice each time his opponent comes down to reduce the impact.
