How To Earn Merits In Hokko Life

Let’s get to work and earn these merits!


Do you like trophies and achievements? Then you will love merits! Just like Animal Crossing, for example, has Nook Miles, Hokko life has merits. You can earn them by completing different types of daily chores and chores – you can think of it as a reward for running some errands around town.

How merit works

If you access your inventory, you can go to mayor merits next to the crafting menu. Here you can view and work towards all available in-game earnings.

It is important to complete achievements and collect badges as it unlocks more features in the game such as: photo mode. As a result, you will improve your efficiency in many skills and learn more tinker recipesand get access to mechanics that you never expected – no spoilers here!

Every merit thread has levels. Although you cycle through them automatically as you play, you can only get a level’s reward if you’ve already completed the corresponding level.

Available Earning Tasks

There is five categories and each category has different Merits tasks for you to complete. Each icon represents a goal; There is a legend in the right corner of the screen that tells you what your goals are for a specific category. Here are all the categories and their respective tasks:

In each category, you only need to complete the tasks mentioned in the sidebar. However, you must run them a certain time. Just check the level description box to see how many times you need to complete the same task before you get all your rewards.
