The top Android phones allow you to block unnecessary callers on the go. Getting spam or sales calls is the last thing you need in your busy work schedule. It’s also handy to avoid calling and texting from specific contacts on your phone. However, if you frequently miss important calls, you may need to revisit the blocked numbers list and unblock the necessary numbers.

You can use your Android phone’s default Google Phone, Messages and Contacts app to check blocked numbers.


How to use the phone app to view blocked numbers on android

Most Android phones use Google’s default phone app. Follow the steps below to view the blocked number on Android using the Phone app.

  1. open that phone app on android.
  2. Tap the menu icon (three dots) in the top right corner.
  3. Open settings.

  4. Choose Blocked Numbers.
  5. Check the blocked numbers list. Beat Add a number to enter a phone number to block calls and texts from, or tap x next to a phone number to unblock it.

Follow the steps below to use the default Google Contacts app to check blocked numbers on your phone.

  1. open that contacts app on android.
  2. Go to Repair and manage Tab.
  3. Choose Blocked Numbers.

  4. View the blocked numbers list and make the necessary changes.

Besides the phone app, you can use the One UI Messages app to check blocked numbers on a Samsung phone.

  1. Open the Messages app on your Samsung phone.
  2. Tap on the menu icon (three dots) and open it settings.

  3. Choose Block numbers and spam.
  4. Beat block numbers.

  5. Block or unblock contacts from the following menu.
