How to farm tons of fruit in Disney Dreamlight Valley — this feels like cheating

Fruit picking in Disney Dreamlight Valley is annoying. Fruit trees and shrubs are scattered in every corner of your village. So if you need a quick meal, or need fruit for a recipe (or maybe just want to sell something), you’ll need to run around every corner and biome to collect as many as you can.

However, this is completely unnecessary and there is a brilliant way to subvert it. There are a few things you need to do beforehand, and I can offer a few tips to make it look less like a cheap strategy (although it absolutely will feel like it).

1. Make a whole lot of space. You’ll want this spot very close to your home just to make it easier to start your harvest. I personally moved Chez Remy and Scrooge’s Store to the top right corner of the Plaza. However, try to at least make it look nice. At the end of the day, simple farming strategies don’t matter when your village looks like garbage.

2. Open your map and look for the fruit symbols. It is easily recognized as a white apple on a green token. You can also just continue to the next step and look around for trees or bushes, but the map is a good fallback strategy to check if you missed any.

3. Go in furniture Mode (press the inventory button and scroll down to furniture) and hover over the fruits you found on your map. You can freely move the fruit bush or tree wherever you want.

4. Move the fruit bush or tree to the designated space that you cleared in the first step. Repeat this step over and over with every bush and tree you have available. You will need a lot of space, but in the end it will look like the picture below. Make sure it looks reasonably decent. I’ve added patterns to mine to give it a nice aesthetic flair, hoping to disguise this somewhat cheap fruit-growing tactic as something more flavorful.

5. Harvest occasionally and enjoy this new influx of fruit! You can also guarantee a higher yield if you select “Let’s hang out!”. when speaking to a character who has the Gathering trait.

Viola! You now have tons of fruit trees and bushes in your yard. Is it a little cheap to pause the game like this? Absolutely! Will you care much if you stuff gooseberries down your throat? No way!
