How to Fast Travel in Coral Island
Fast Traveling is a feature in Coral Island that greatly helps in instantly traversing the vast expanse of the island. There are several fixed fast travel points scattered around the island, but in order to use them, a quest must first be completed.
In this guide we are going to talk about the steps to unlock the fast travel points in Coral Island.
How to unlock Fast Travel in Coral Island
In order to unlock the first few fast travel points, you must first unlock the Mythic Dream quest, which leads to the Temple Sacrifice quest.
How to complete the Mythic Dream quest
Mythical Dream quest comes after your sleep on your 6th day. You will experience a dream in which a spirit will reach you. You must examine the plaque on one of the sacred trees on the island. The closest ones are in town, south of the lab, and the one that’s northwest of the ranch.
After completing the quest, you will unlock the Temple Sacrifice quest.
How to complete the Temple Sacrifice quest
Begin the quest by going to the Sea Temple and interacting with the spirit that resides there.
The goal of the quest is to complete a full set of any offering. You can either complete the Essential Resources offerings or the Spring Sesajen, as these are the easiest to complete during Spring. Otherwise, you can opt for the other offer sets that are suitable for the current season.
The Essential Resources set only requires five types of offerings from a choice of seven, and the set requires:
- x10 wood
- x10 stone
- x10 fiber
- x10 juice
- x5 Maple Seeds
- x5 Oak Seeds
- x5 pine cones
The Spring Sesajen requires:
- x1 turnip
- x1 carrot
- x1 daisy
- x1 Wasabi
- x1 Morel
Completing any of the sets will unlock a cutscene and the first few fast travel locations. These spots can be accessed by interacting with the lit offer posts where offers are placed. A new map will appear showing the other unlocked fast travel locations.
There will be three fast travel locations unlocked through this first quest, these are the following:
- Farm yard – The fast travel point is next to the house near the north exit.
- dive pier – The fast travel point is to the right of the dive pier sign, near the path to the beach.
- Sea Temple – The fast travel point is at the bottom of the temple stairs on the left.
Another fast travel point leading to the forest cave can only be unlocked after reaching level 15 in the mines.
