How to get Radiant Ore in Slime Rancher 2
Radiant Ore is a resource in slime breeder 2 which you must collect to unlock and upgrade certain tools and skills in the Fabricator.

How to get Radiant Ore in Slime Rancher 2
There are a few steps you need to do first to get Radiant Ore in Slime Rancher 2. First of all you have to Unlock the Resource Harvester at the Manufacturer by collecting x10 Cotton Plorts from Cotton Slimes. This allows you to harvest Radiant Ore when you find it.
Cotton Slimes are one of the first creatures you will encounter at the beginning of your journey. So just head west from the Conservatory and you’ll soon come across a large field full of Pink and Cotton Slimes.
Cotton Slime’s favorite food is Water Lettuce, which produces two Cotton Plorts, but you can feed them any Vegetable to produce one Plort each. There are also some water lettuce and pogofruit in and around the western area of the conservatory.
Once you have x10 Cotton Plorts, go to the Science Lab down the stairs behind your house and shoot the x10 Cotton Plorts into the Refinery to the right of the Fabricator. Then go to the maker and craft the resource harvester.
Now that you can harvest materials when you find them, keep an eye out for shiny rocks that look like squares, as these are Radiant Ore nodes. However, they are randomized so we can’t tell you exactly where they will spawn.
Additionally, while Radiant Ore can be found throughout Rainbow Island, we’ve found that certain areas contain far more ore than others.
The best place to get Radiant Ore early in Slime Rancher 2
The best place to get and farm Radiant Ore early in Slime Rancher 2 is Ember Valley, located west of the Conservatory. Although their exact locations are random, when we searched here we found x10 Radiant Ore for our jetpack pretty quickly.
To unlock the Ember Valley area, you must first feed the Pink Gordo Slime in The Conservatory area until it explodes, then activate the portal behind the exploded Gordo to get there.
The Pink Gordo in Slime Rancher 2 is located in the north corner of the blue area marked on your mapwest of the cliffs you first encounter after leaving your ranch.
If you haven’t cleared the map to see exactly where we are marked in the image above, just keep walking until you come across a cliff, then turn left and follow the cliff around its north side, and You will soon come across Pink Gordo Slime.
It normally takes 30x a slime’s diet food to explode them and clear the path they’re blocking, but since pink slimes eat anything, you can feed them whatever you want. There are lots of carrots in the area and we found a bunch of red pogo fruit to the right of the Pink Gordo which helped us feed him quickly.
Once the Pink Gordo Slime explodes stand on the geyser which will shoot water in the air and it will shoot you up as well so you can walk over it on the cliffs and press the button on the other side to get the Ember Valley to open portal.
All you have to do now is go through this rainbow portal and you will be transported to Ember Valley, the best place to get and farm Radiant Ore early in Slime Rancher 2.
