Choose Me! on Roblox has dozens of different pets that you can hatch from eggs and raise. These pets come from a variety of egg types, some more valuable than others. One of the rarer pets you can get is the Maneki-Neko, a cute yellow legendary cat.
In this guide we are going to look at how you can get the Maneki-Neko. Also, let’s look at how to create one Neon and mega neon versions of this pet. First, let’s look at what egg this cat came from.
Buy a Japan Egg
Maneki-Nekos hatch japanese eggs, which can be bought at the gumball machine in the kindergarten. In the picture above you can see Japan Eggs inside the machine.
Each egg will cost you $750. Once purchased, the egg will immediately join you, and any pet you previously had will return to your inventory.
Eggs rotate in the gumball machine, which means that the Japanese egg will eventually be replaced with a new one. Luckily, eggs stay in the gumball machine for several months, giving you plenty of time to buy a few.
Hatch a Maneki-Neko
Once you have a Japan Egg, you need to take care of it. After the meter above your egg fills, it will hatch.
The Maneki-Neko is a legendary pet, which means you have one five percent chance of getting one from a Japan Egg. That’s not very high, meaning you’ll likely need to buy multiple eggs to get this cat.
Trade for a Maneki-Neko
Not only can you hatch a Maneki-Neko, but you can trade it for one. As a legendary pet, you need a trading license to trade with others.
To start trading, mention what you are looking for in chat. You can even mention what you are willing to trade in exchange. After a while, someone may accept the offer and ask to trade with you.
You can trade another legendary pet, as well as several other pets. Go to the Adopt Me! Trading Values page to see what other players have traded in exchange for a Maneki-Neko.
Neon and Mega Neon Nekos
To make a neon maneki-neko, you need four of the original pets. Once you have four, head to the Neon Cave, which is under the bridge that leads to Adoption Island. Inside the cave you will see four glowing circles; Placing your Maneki-Nekos on these circles will combine them into a Neon Maneki-Neko.
With the Mega Neon, you have to do the same thing, but with four Neon Maneki-Nekos. Placing a neon version in each circle of the cave will combine them again into the mega neon maneki-neko. In total, this means you need 16 Maneki-Nekos total to craft a Mega Neon version.
