The National Brain Appeal’s annual art fundraiser is back, this year it’s all about movement – whether it’s traveling to distant places or moving through everyday life. All proceeds from the envelope-based artwork (£85) will support important projects at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. Plays by Andrew Marr, Chantal Joffe and actor Greg Wise are up for grabs. The catch? LS Lowrys go to the game collects donations for the Players Foundation
Before making a name for himself as a painter of scenes from industrial England, the British artist LS Lowry worked as a rent collector and only devoted himself fully to art after his retirement in 1952. go to the game completed a year later, is the most famous of Lowry’s football paintings, most of which play under the stormy Bolton sky. David Sims, David Bailey, Tim Walker and more unite for War Child
Photographic prints including a David Sims portrait of Kate Moss, a backstage shot of a Maison Martin Margiela show from the 1990s by Anders Edstrom and Tim Walker Gardening Glove, Northumberland, England, are all being sold for £125 to raise money for War Child, the organization working to support, protect and educate children affected by war. A capsule collection by Michael Kors to fight food poverty
For the ninth year in a row, Michael Kors has partnered with the United Nations World Food Program on their march toward Zero Hunger. The special edition Love Makes The World Go Round includes two products featuring graffiti-style messages by multimedia artist Bonny Guo (aka NYSOMETIMES): a black tote bag (£95) and a matching tote bag (£55). 100 percent of profits go to WFP’s school meals program, while an additional 50 meals can be donated by posting a selfie using Instagram’s “Share Your Heart” filter. Limited edition mezcal to replant the Amazon
For every bottle of Annabel’s for the Amazon Mezcal (£120) purchased, 35 trees are planted. The London Member’s Club and The Caring Family Foundation have teamed up with The Lost Explorer Mezcal for a limited selection of 1,000 bottles in support of the goal of planting one million trees in the Amazon rainforest by March 2024. Unseen footage of Denis O’Regan will benefit GOSH Children’s Charity
To celebrate punk-era photographer Denis O’Regan’s 69th birthday, a set of 15 of his prints – nine classics; six previously unseen – being sold to raise money for the Great Ormond Street Hospital children’s charity. The collection (single prints from £800) offers a mini-retrospective of O’Regan’s career highlights: touring with David Bowie, Keith Richards backstage in 1988 and a trip to Budapest with Freddie Mercury. 10 percent of the proceeds are donated to GOSH. Animal portraits to benefit Arctic conservation projects
After visiting the Arctic last year, artist and environmentalist Sophie Green was inspired to paint the effects of climate change. The result, a series of 14 hyper-realistic animal portraits (from £10,000), is set to be shown and sold at London’s OXO Tower Gallery, with at least 30 per cent of sales going to conservation projects. Princess Diana inspired glasses raising funds for Orbis
Diana, Princess of Wales loved a pair of statement sunglasses: Ray-Ban wayfarer on the slopes and tortoise shell aviators on her tour of Egypt in 1992. Her passion caught the imagination of British eyewear designer Tom Davies, who created three limited edition styles, inspired by the late princess, for a silent charity auction.
