Step Two: Cut the Base
Next, cut the tabletop with a jigsaw and a clean sheet of wood. Tip: Don’t rush this step. Go slow to achieve a straight cut and perfect circle.
Step three: sand
After you’ve cut your table top, you’ll need to sand down the circle to remove rough edges using a belt sander and 120 grit sandpaper. Clean the dust when you finish this step.

Step Four: Cut the PVC Pipes
Mark the PVV pipes every 18 inches and cut them with a miter saw. You need to cut five tubes for legs.
Step Five: Drill the leg base
Lay the tabletop upright and place the five legs evenly on the edge. Using a pencil, trace each tube and drill the five tube caps with two screws each.

Step Seven: Have Fun Creating a Terrazzo Effect!
Set up your new side table outside before spray painting your latest DIY masterpiece.
Make sure you wear a mask and are able to work in a well-ventilated area before spray painting. Apply two coats of paint to your table (we used light pink) and let dry for at least 35 minutes.
If you want a terrazzo-inspired look, use stone texture spray paint and apply two more coats. Leave it on overnight for the best results.
