Setting up an MDF and measuring a circle diameter

Step one: measure the base

First, measure the base to cut a 15 inch circle. Using a tape measure, mark the center with a pencil and use a wooden compass to draw a perfect perimeter.

Step Seven: Have Fun Creating a Terrazzo Effect!

Set up your new side table outside before spray painting your latest DIY masterpiece.

Make sure you wear a mask and are able to work in a well-ventilated area before spray painting. Apply two coats of paint to your table (we used light pink) and let dry for at least 35 minutes.

If you want a terrazzo-inspired look, use stone texture spray paint and apply two more coats. Leave it on overnight for the best results.
