FIFA 23 players who have pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition can access the game one day before the Early Access period using an extremely simple method.
FIFA 23 is about to release, Ultimate Edition owners will get access on September 27th and the rest of the community will jump in on September 30th.
Of course, getting into FIFA 23 as soon as possible is extremely important, especially if you’re a fan of Ultimate Team mode and want to stay ahead of the competition.
However, players who pre-ordered the Standard Edition will be banned until the official release. Ultimate Edition owners can register one day before the start of Early Access on September 26th.
This is made possible by using the New Zealand method, a technique that has worked in previous FIFA launches and can also be used in FIFA 23.
How to play FIFA 23 before early access on Xbox
The New Zealand method is only available on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
In order to use the New Zealand method, you must first pre-order the Ultimate Edition of the game. You also have to play on one Xbox One and Xbox Series X/Sas these consoles allow you to change your location via the settings menu.
Then all you have to do is follow these simple steps and you’ll play FIFA 23 before everyone else:
- Go to the settings menu on your Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S
- Navigate to the System section
- Select the Language & Location tab
- Change your location to New Zealand
- Restart your console
- Start FIFA 23 Ultimate Team
If you follow these steps, you should be able to access FIFA 23 on September 26th, one day before the official Early Access period begins.
How to play FIFA 23 before early access on PlayStation
The Early Access period officially begins on September 27th for Ultimate Edition owners.
For PlayStation players, the method is slightly different and instead involves utilizing the FIFA 23 free trial, which requires an EA Play membership.
- Make sure you have pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23
- Go to PlayStation Store
- Find FIFA 23 in the store
- EA Play users will be given the opportunity to take advantage of their “Early Access Trial”.
- Use it and you’ll have access to FIFA 23 for 10 hours on September 26th
