How to pre-order Assassin’s Creed Mirage

The next Assassin’s Creed is fast approaching, but this one isn’t quite like the last few we’ve had. Instead of following the open world western RPG style origins kicked away, Assassin’s Creed Mirage brings things back to basics in many ways. It will be a more focused, story-heavy game, mostly taking place in just one city, and will only last around 20 hours instead of up to 200. The focus is once again on stealth and using your skills to assassinate targets using your parkour and tools.

Only because Assassin’s Creed Mirage was developed from what was originally intended to be DLC valhalla, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t get the same amount of care and attention as every other Ubisoft title. Accordingly, three individual editions of the game are already available for pre-order. Whether you’ve been with the Brotherhood since the Hidden Blade’s inception, or jumped in when RPG mechanics and loot were brought on board, there’s a ton of content between the different editions to choose from. Here’s everything you need to know.

Assassin's Creed Mirage Basim

You don’t need Eagle Vision to see the best way to pre-order Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Just head over to the official Ubisoft Store page for the game, where you can choose your platform (PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S or PC), whether physical or digital, and your edition of choice. You will be taken directly to the storefront of this platform or delivered directly from Ubisoft.

standard edition

Basim hides in the shadows.

The Standard Edition, as the name suggests, is the basic version that contains nothing but the game itself and a bonus quest called The Forty Thieves. However, perhaps because it’s a slightly smaller title than most, this version costs $50 across all platforms. It’s also important to note that if you get the PS4 or Xbox One version, you can upgrade them to the next-gen systems for free.
