Apple AirTags are amazing. I use them to keep track of all my valuables, from keys to luggage to my wallet.

Just this morning I used an AirTag to track my keys.

But how do you attach the dainty white flying saucer to the keys?

Apple’s suggestion is that you use one of its AirTag holders. Maybe the $35 worth of leather keychainsor a $29 silicone loopor maybe you want to treat yourself to one $349 Hermès key ring holder.

I don’t know about you, but I’m hesitant to pay $35 for a holder for an AirTag that costs $29.

I’ve tried cheap – and I mean about $2 cheap – silicone AirTag holders, but they have disappointed me in that the AirTag can pop out and the silicone starts to crack after a few weeks of use.

I do not recommend these.

Buy cheap, buy twice.

I’ve tested a few different holders and found some that are both good quality and reasonably priced.

That Nu Series Unbreakcable AirTag Case Is one of them.

This AirTag case is made from highly durable TPU and features a clear front protective cover to enhance protection and prevent the AirTag from rattling around.

And to make it easy to attach your AirTag to things – keys, luggage, pets – there’s a sturdy metal clip. Made of aluminum alloy, this clip is lightweight but strong and corrosion resistant.

The case does not reduce the range at which the AirTag can be detected and has very little effect on the beeps a lost AirTag emits to help you locate it.

Unbreakcable also claims that the cases are IP56 waterproof, but since AirTags have a rating of IP67, the purpose seems to be to prevent dirt, dust and moisture from entering the case.

They are also easy to use. Unpack the case and remove the clear front cover.

Then remove the piece of packaging that prevents the case from being crushed during transport.

Insert the AirTag into the TPU case. It’s pretty snug!

That's a tight fit!

Finally, put on the cover and finish with the ring!

Finished!

And best of all, at $21.99 for a four-pack, the Unbreakcable Nu series AirTag protective case in a four-pack costs less than a single AirTag.
