How to See Your Seasonal Recaps on YouTube Music
If you’re an avid YouTube Music user, then chances are you know all about seasonal recaps. The music streaming platform automatically creates these recaps based on the music you’ve been listening to over the past season, making it easy to relive all your favorite musical memories.

What are YouTube Music Season Recaps?
With YouTube Music Season Recaps, you can listen to a recap of your best songs, artists, playlists, and albums from the past season. This feature is similar to Apple Music’s Replay and Spotify’s Wrapped. However, YouTube Music allows users to share seasonal recaps throughout the year.
The Your Summary page lets you explore a carousel of six pages of statistics. The first card shows your best artist, track, and total minutes listened, while subsequent cards list your top five tracks, artists, playlists, albums, and genres.
How to View Your YouTube Music Season Recap (Mobile)
It’s important to note that you must be a YouTube Premium subscriber to view your YouTube Music Season Recap. Note that you will only receive a season recap if you have listened to at least 2 hours of music between the beginning and end of a season.
To view your YouTube Music Season Recap:
- Open the YouTube Music app on your Android or iOS device.
- Tap your user profile picture in the top right corner of the screen. If you haven’t set a user profile picture, the picture will show the first letter of your Google Account username.
- Then tap your summary from the options list.
- You’ll find your Season Recap top stats, which list your top artist, top song, and the number of minutes you spent listening to them. You can also swipe left to see your top five songs, artists, playlists, albums, and genre stats.
If you want to share what you hear, you can easily download and share the image of each replay carousel by tapping Share button and selecting a social media app.
How to View Your YouTube Music Season Recap (Desktop)
You can also access your season recaps in your favorite browser. First you must:
- Go to the YouTube Music website.
- Click your profile picture in the top right, then click your channel.
- After that, scroll down until you find your summary, and when you click on it you will see your season recap playlists. You can listen to these playlists, mark them or share them with friends. However, you cannot access stat cards on the YouTube Music web version.
How to share your season recap (desktop)
Follow these steps to share your season recap playlist:
- Open the Season Recap playlist.
- Click next to the playlist Three point menu.
- click Split. You can share, embed or email your season recap playlist on social media.
