How To Spare Every Chapter 2 Darkner Quickly
Since only 2 of the 7 chapters have been published so far, delta rune is quickly becoming one of the most popular indie RPGs of all time. Some of the reasons for its popularity are the quirky and intricate activities that players can engage in within the game. One such activity is recruiting the Darkners to live in Castle Town. This recruitment system was added to the game with the release of Chapter 2.
Many things in Castle Town change depending on which of the possible recruits have been won. For example, if Seam gets at least 9 recruits, he will replace his Dark Candies in his shop with CD Bagels, a much more powerful healing item. Additionally, several recruited Darkners will appear and be spoken to in Castle Town, complete with unique dialogue.
They also appear in Cafe as additional placement options. There are even more benefits to recruiting specific characters. However, some of the battles can become lengthy and boring if the player doesn’t know the quickest way to complete them. So here are the quickest ways to recruit them delta rune Chapter 2 Darkner.
Werewire
Werewire has the unique trait of being permanently Tired, Make sleeping spells highly effective. Defending Kris or Susie before it’s Ralsei’s turn is the most efficient way to gain TP to afford his pacing spell. This tactic works for Noelle as well, but both she and Kris must defend themselves to afford her Sleepmist spell. It will spare any weary enemy in combat, so the speed of the sparing process evens out.
A total of 6 werwires must be spared in order to officially recruit them. Luckily, unlike some other enemies, they’re easy to find. They can be encountered in Cyber Field, Cyber City, and Queen’s Mansion (Acid Tunnel). If this requirement was not met before Giga Queen, the easiest way to find Werewire is 1 room east of the music store in Cyber Field, which is just 1 room north of Cyber Field’s Warp Door.
task
Tasks are extremely easy to recruit. Use Ralsei’s “SoftVoice” ACT There is a unique time in Kris’ ACT menu that brings all tasques to 100% Mercy. At this point, just use the spare command to end the fight.
A total of 5 tasks must be spared in order to officially recruit them. you can be found in Cyber Field, Cyber City (Weird Route only), and Queen’s Mansion. If this requirement hasn’t been met before Giga Queen, the easiest quest to hit is located 1 room east and 1 room south of Cyber Fields Warp Door.
virovirokun
Virovirokuns are very similar to Tasques, as Using “TakeCareX” will bring them all to 100% Mercy in a fight, and then all they have to do is use the spare command. This works with both the entire trio and just Kris and Noelle.
A total of 4 Virovirokuns must be spared in order to officially recruit them. you can be encountered in Cyber Field and Cyber City. If this requirement isn’t met before Giga Queen, the easiest Viroviokun to hit is at the end of a narrow room east of Cyber Field’s Warp Door.
popup
Poppup is by far the easiest recruit to get. At the very first encountered in Cyber City, just before Noelle arrives, Use the “Click” ACT on them twice. This puts her at 100% Mercy and spares all 3 in the same turn, and 3 happens to be the number needed to get the Recruit. After that, no more pop-ups need to be fought.

Ambu Lance
Noelle’s “Hospitality” ACT on Kris’ menu Instantly make all Ambyu Lances spareable in a fight. However, there aren’t many ways to use this since she’s so little in the party, so the best way is to use the “GetHit” ACT on Kris’ menu with the full trio and immediately into one of the Ambyu’s orbs -Lance to run this spare.

Mouse
Kris’ TrapOne and TrapAll ACTs are the most useful for single mouse and multiple, respectively. With the right timing Any enemy trapped in the red cage gains 100% mercy. TrapAll even works on non-mouse enemies, meaning it can bring all enemies in a fight to 100% Mercy in a single turn if all of them are caught.
3 Maus must be spared to officially recruit them. They can only be encountered in Cyber City. If this requirement has not been met before Giga Queen, the easiest mouse to hit is 1 room east of the Trash Zone Warp Door and joins the popup visible in the overworld when the battle begins.
swatches
are swatchlings the most complicated enemy to spare. When the fight starts, they are all a random color. The colors can be manipulated with the ACTs “Warmify”, “Coldify”, “Half-Warm” and “Half-Cold”. “Warmify” and “Coldify” adjust their colors in 2 stages, while “Half-Warm” and “Half-Cold” only do 1 stage.
The coldest phase is blue and the warmest phase is red, with green, yellow and orange in between. These ACTs must be used carefully so that all swatchlings are the same color, which brings them all to 100% mercy. A blue swatchling can’t get colder and a red swatchling can’t get warmer, so don’t apply their respective ACTs to them as that would waste the party member’s turn. The vast majority of the color combinations that the game offers players can be made to match in as little as 1 turn, although some require 2.
A total of 5 Swatchlings must be spared in order to officially recruit them. They can only be found in Queen’s Mansion. If this condition hasn’t been met before Giga Queen, the easiest Swatchling to encounter is in the Task Manager’s room after she’s been fought. Good to know is that whenever possible, breaking pottery in Queen’s Mansion grants additional swatchling encounters that can usually be skipped.
Task manager
When answering the Task Manager’s questions Say “Left, Down, Left” in that order. This grants her 100% Mercy in the first round in which she can be recruited immediately. 2 Tasques will also join her in combat if her requirement of 5 spares has not yet been met, although they must be spared individually for them to count.
mouse wheel
An extremely well-timed “CatchX” can bring the mouse wheel up to 50-60% Mercy in one turn, ie It only takes at least 2 turns to complete the battle. Don’t worry too much about Susie and Ralsei’s “S-Action” and “R-Action”. They only give 5% mercy each. These are helpful when the mouse wheel only needs 5-10% grace to reach 100% and no other situations.
