work look
“One of the things that we really, a lot of Gen Z people tend to do is have extreme seizures,” Bergamotto said. “So silhouettes are either really, really oversized – think ankle-skimming coats with big, broad shoulders, or super, body-skimming crop tops. For work, we’ll show you how to wear the simple white button-down black pants look and revitalize it for 2022.”
Bergamotto recommends a “boyfriend” or “relaxed” button-up paired with wide-leg jeans and loafers and a long, oversized coat.
“The way you wear it also plays a role. Instead of buttoning it all the way, you can now wear it by buttoning the center buttons and letting the rest of the shirt stand out. If you prefer tucking it in style, then simply tuck in half of the shirt.”

“Slip dresses are still a thing, so don’t get rid of them if you have them. It’s a versatile piece that you can wear in countless ways.”
Bergamotto suggested pairing a slip, like the viral Skims slip, with a chunky cardigan and lace-up motorcycle boots.
“Modern fashion loves to combine that slim fit with something super casual and comfortable. That balance adds interest and texture to the whole thing,” she adds.

Casual look
“For something more casual, the good news is that jeans and a sweater still work. We just made some upgrades to each part,” said Bergamotto.
Bergamotto chose a quarter-zip sweater from Old Navy with straight-leg jeans in a light wash.
“A straight leg looks more modern and still hugs the right places. This lighter Madewell wash is also very contemporary and gives it a very on-trend vintage feel.”
Then complete the look with UGGs (they’re back) for a cozy, cool look.
