How to Unlock (and Use) Katars

Added the new melee weapon Katar chivalry 2. Exclusive to the Vanguard class, this weapon allows for a barrage of quick hits. Flanking or assassinating the enemy team can be great fun.

Katars themselves are percussion daggers from southern India, capable of claw-like manoeuvres. Torn Banner Studios has continued to embrace the aesthetic with special emotes and taunts reminiscent of the famous clawed Marvel superhero, Wolverine. Players might be interested in the new weapon just for the animations.

As Katars are limited to only one class, it may not be suitable for all players. For example those who play chivalry 2 Mostly as a first-person shooter with which Archer must not be lured. Still, you might want to try them out just to know who to counter enemy players against.

How to get the new Qatars

Qatars can only be used by chivalry 2 avant-garde Subclass, ambush. This subclass unlocks at Vanguard Rank 7 and will retroactively have the first Qatar for anyone who has already reached that level. How to use a Qatar Attack inn Duels & Group Fights

Katars are ultra-fast weapons that deal relatively low base damage. As with other weapons, the Stab, Slash, and Overhead can all be increased to an even slower, high-damage version by long-pressing the input.

Qatar’s excel most in the chaotic heat of Chivalry 2′s large-scale objective maps. Always begin by traversing the area with several allies who can act as bait. Players should prioritize any enemy that is clearly exposing themselves: those who focus on targets, are proficient with siege weapons, isolated snipers, or enemies who have just used a bandage. The goal is to kill yourself or a teammate and avoid the chance of the attacker escaping or being revived by their own allies. If the enemy gets too far, switch to it throwing daggers to finish them off.

Qatar users are themselves vulnerable once spotted and outnumbered. The short range and lack of stealth are too much of a disadvantage when facing multiples chivalry 2 enemies alone in battle. At this point, Ambushers will either want to retire or switch to a more reliable sidearm like this short sword or stick. Once backed by at least one teammate, players can once again focus on multiple backstabs.

In a true chivalry 2 One-on-one combat, Qatar’s lose some of their advantages but can still be a competent weapon. The special attack is always strong and deals good damage from equal shields when both hit land. Additionally, since the Headbutt attack is within kick range, players can easily combine these attacks to break through an enemy’s defenses. Players can also switch to sidearms and ranged weapons if extra range is needed or there is a risk of breaking the current weapon. chivalry 2 Players should also remember to heal whenever they can if their health is low during an intense duel.
