How to use a D-Launcher

Fortnite’s The next set of weekly challenges has arrived and has the fortnite mares event that’s happening right now, these challenges are feeling a little overwhelming. With the event releasing two new challenges each day, they get all the cool Halloween stuff, and the weekly stuff is left over to pick up the pieces. Still, with 20,000 XP for each challenge plus a 50,000 XP bonus for hitting certain milestones, you can’t turn your nose up.

If you just jumped in Fourteen days Season, then we have guides for the challenges stretching back to Zero Week, as well as a rundown of everything included in the Battle Pass this season.

Fortnite bars

This is a two-part challenge where you have to win 100 bars in a single game and then spend them all. You can collect bars by opening chests, usually in clusters of between five and ten. If all that looting isn’t getting you anywhere near your goal, then get out your guns and eliminate some enemies as they drop bars as they die. Spend them is easy, just find a vending machine, NPC or upgrade table and go crazy.

Fortnite Cloudy Condos

Anyone versed in combat tactics will know that having the high ground is an innate advantage. Thankfully, Chrome has made it a lot easier to get high this season, as more locations are hooking up to balloons to avoid infection. Just pick a high spot and wait for your prey to come towards you. Highly populated areas like Tilted Towers or the Reality Tree are great places to wait.

Fortnite Assault Rifle

Why use one type of weapon when there are so many on offer? Getting your hands on any of these weapons shouldn’t be a problem, as they all appear in chests and floor loot frequently. You also don’t need to get kills with them, just deal damage – a single hit from each counts.

Sanctum of the Fortnite Herald

If you are an experienced Fourteen days Player, then this challenge shouldn’t be a problem. However, if you are a new player then check out our beginner’s guide to give yourself an edge. Both locations are heavily populated, so it’s best to spawn there, get your hands on a gun, and start a fight with the first person you see. You don’t even have to get both kills in a single match.

Fortnite Bouncing Snuff Mushroom

I’m not sure whose job it is to come up with these challenges, but they’ve obviously run out of ideas and just started pasting old ones together. Slurpshrooms are the glowing blue mushrooms seen around the Reality Falls biome. Jumping on them will give you between 10 and 25 health/shields. Before you do that though, make sure you get a Chrome Splash from random loot or breaking chrome objects and use it on yourself.

Fortnite D Launcher

D-Launchers are giant jump pads. They throw anyone who steps on them into the air, usually in a specific direction. You can find them on most floating locations like Cloudy Condos.

While this challenge only requires a bit of footwork, it can be difficult before the storm hits and locks down one of the locations. Note that you have to start at Cloudy Condos, so it’s best to land there at the beginning of a game. From there, the quickest way to get to the reality tree is to use the large balloons that are scattered throughout. Each gets you up in the air and down again as you traverse the landscape.
