How to Watch Black Adam: Release Date and Streaming Status
Dwayne Johnson’s much-anticipated superhero debut as Black Adam is imminent. It’s the fulfillment of casting rumors stretching back to 2007 and, according to Johnson, marks the beginning of “a new era in the DC Universe.” Although our Black Adam review doesn’t entirely agree with that sentiment.

Black Adam streaming
Black Adam is not currently available to stream online and there has been no official announcement regarding its streaming status. However, considering it’s a Warner Bros. film, Black Adam should finally coming to HBO Max.
Warner no longer guarantees movies will appear on HBO Max after 45 days, so we don’t know the exact streaming release date. For reference, however, Warner’s two most recent releases came 70 days (Elvis) and 59 days (DC League of Super-Pets) after their theatrical debut on HBO Max. Should Black Adam strike within that 60-70 day window, it would be mid Coming to HBO Max by the end of December.
What is Black Adam about?
Black Adam is the DC superhero’s first-ever feature film. Here is the official synopsis from Warner Bros.:
In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was bestowed the almighty powers of the gods. After using these powers for revenge, he was imprisoned and became Black Adam. Almost 5,000 years have passed and Black Adam has gone from man to myth to legend. Now released, his unique form of justice born of anger is challenged by modern-day heroes who make up the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher and Cyclone.
