The 2022 Fortinet Championship, the first event of the new 2022-23 PGA Tour season, begins this week at the Silverado Resort in California. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament.

Fortinet Championship Preview

This season marks the last all-round season of the PGA Tour before major schedule changes in 2024, and it all begins this week at the Fortinet Championship.

After a year of doubling his overall wins and finishing T5 in the Tour Championship, defending champion Max Homa is poised for a similarly hot start this year in Napa.

His main rivals include many of the same players who challenged his lead at last year’s tournament. Among them is former Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama, who finished T6 at Fortinet 2021. Matsuyama enters the event tied with Homa and has the best odds at +1400.

Other notable players serving in the first event of the new season include Webb Simpson, Jason Day, Rickie Fowler and Corey Conners.
