How to Watch Little League Baseball World Series on August 21 | Channel, Stream, Preview

More eliminators are scheduled for Sunday’s Little League Baseball World Series as more teams are sent home from Williamsport.

Utah (0-1) vs. Iowa (1-1)

  • Time: 11 a.m. ET

With a heavy heart, Utah fell early in Friday’s first game against Tennessee and failed to recover. The Southeast team hit six runs in their first two innings, with another big inning later helping send Utah to a final score of 11-2. Reggie Ence had one of the team’s two hits in the loss, scoring both of Utah’s runs.

Pennsylvania (1-1) vs. New York (0-1)

  • Time: 2 p.m. ET
  • Where: Lamade Stadium (South Williamsport, Pennsylvania)

The Metro team couldn’t keep up with a dominant Hawaii offense on Friday as New York fell behind in the opening inning and couldn’t come back. After giving up six runs in the fifth inning, New York was defeated by a final score of 12-0 under the mercy rule.

Curaçao (1-1) v Italy (1-1)

  • Time: 9 p.m. ET
  • Where: Volunteer Stadium (South Williamsport, Pennsylvania)
  • Channel: ESPN

Curacao failed to recover after conceding a grand slam in the opening inning against Panama last Friday. However, they didn’t give up. The team from the Caribbean completed three heats, five behind in fourth place. However, Panama added four more in the fifth to seal the win and handed Curacao their first World Series loss by a score of 9-3. Joshua Acosta had a solid afternoon on the plate, going with two RBIs and a scored Runs 2-3.

Nicaragua (1-1) v Japan (0-1)

  • Where: Volunteer Stadium (South Williamsport, Pa.)

Japan were in a close game with Canada in their first game of the World Series on Friday. Thanks to excellent pitching and great defense, the game was scoreless for five innings. However, Canada broke through in the sixth run with six runs, sending Japan to a 6-0 loss. Ryo Ayabe got off to a solid start on the mound, hitting six and giving up just two runs in more than five innings of work.
