How to watch Meta Connect 2022 — the Quest 2 Pro is fast approaching
“How can I watch Meta Connect 2022?” is a question that’s gaining traction on Google Search as the much-anticipated live stream fast approaches. One of the most talked about VR headsets of the year, rumored to be called that MetaQuest Prois expected to be presented at Meta Connect 2022 – and we can’t wait!
On September 6, Meta officially announced the date for Meta Connect 2022; It is scheduled to air on multiple platforms in mid-October. Along with the announcement of the Quest Pro headset, we’re expecting news on a horizon worlds update, the company’s Metaverse app, new VR games for the Quest platform, and more.

Meta Connect 2022 starts on Reality Labs Facebook page. if you have one search 2 headset, you can view Meta Connect 2022 in the Metaverse via the Horizon Worlds app (register here (opens in new tab) for this option). If you want to watch the live stream in Horizon Worlds, Meta recommends the following:
- Update your headset to the latest version of Meta Quest software
- Restart Horizon Worlds and update to the latest version of the app
- Familiarize yourself with Horizon Worlds by exploring the experience
- On the day of Meta Connect, make sure you have a stable internet connection and a fully charged headset.
Note that Horizon Worlds is only available to users over the age of 18 and is not available in all regions.
Meta’s next VR headset, rumored to be called the Quest Pro, is expected to be the main headliner in the upcoming Connect 2022 livestream. The head-mounted display is rumored to be the Project Cambria headset that Meta teased at their recent Connect event. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the upcoming headset will be high-end. The Quest Pro is rumored to fetch consumers $1,500, a big jump from the Quest 2’s $399 starting price.
What sets the Quest Pro apart from the Quest 2 is that it supports AR experiences, allowing you to blend the real world with VR artifacts. Tipsters say the Quest Pro has top-notch face tracking. Whatever expression you make, your avatar should accurately reflect it in the metaverse.
Quest Pro specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 5G chipset, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, 10 sensors (such as hand tracking, eye tracking, and face tracking), an IR depth projector for mixed- Reality experiences, 2160 x 2160 pixels per eye on OLED panels, WiFi 6E capability and more.
Zuckerberg will, as you might have guessed, open the Meta Connect 2022 keynote. According to the schedule on the official Meta Connect website, there will be a series of speakers following Zuckerberg throughout the day.
