How to Watch My Policeman Starring Harry Styles
Even as don’t worry darling continues to perform at the box office, Harry Styles‘ The next big movie is about to be released. in the my copHarry Styles plays Police Constable Tom Burgess, a gay man in 1950s England who is torn between his wife Marion, played by Emma Korinand his lover Patrick, played by David Dawson.
Based on a book by bethan roberts, my cop‘s official description promises that the film is a “visually moving, heartbreaking portrait of three people caught in the shifting tides of history, freedom and forgiveness.” my cop is led by Michael Grage and although it’s only Grandage’s second feature film, following his 2016 film geniusGrandage has extensive experience directing theater and is currently Artistic Director of the Michael Grandage Company, skills he clearly brought to the table as a director my cop.
The star, Harry Styles, is also relatively new to the film, having been there before Dunkirk and don’t worry darling before. Of course, Styles is far from new to the limelight, having recorded several chart-topping songs both as a solo artist and as a member of the band A direction. He is also considered a fashion icon and has been on the cover of Vogue. His peers are no less talented or less fashionable. Emma Corrin also made the cover of Vogue and was the first non-binary person to do so. Corrin is perhaps best known to viewers for her role as Diana, Princess of Wales The crown. You will also appear as Lady Chatterley in the upcoming series Lady Chatterley’s lover. David Dawson also has an impressive filmography, having recently appeared in All old knives, Peaky Blindersand Ripperstr.
Portions of the film are set in the 1990s after Tom and Marion reconnect with Patrick when Patrick’s health begins to deteriorate. In these sections, an older version of Tom is portrayed by Linus Roachewho audiences may remember as Ecbert of Wessex viking or David Wellington hometown, among other roles. The older Marion is played Gina McKee played the Countess Henrietta Harding phantom thread and the Queen in Neil Gaimans mirror/mask. Rupert Everettwho plays the older version of Patrick probably needs no introduction since he’s been in everything Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Childrento My best friend’s weddingto An ideal husband.

A teaser trailer for My Policeman was released on YouTube on June 15th.
Then, on September 7th, a full trailer was released. achieved cat power‘s “Sea of Love,” the trailer shows the deep and desperate feelings between Tom and Patrick, and also between Tom and Marion. It also features a glimpse of an older Tom, Marion, and Patrick. The complicated and aching relationships are shown in full in the trailer, as are glimpses of Brighton’s beautiful but moody seafront.
Is my cop at the cinema?
my cop has a limited theatrical release and will be available in select theaters from October 21st. Be sure to check your local theater listings to see where it’s playing in your area. It’s also screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, giving critics, including Collider’s own Chase Hutchinson, a chance to see it.
Will My Policeman be available in streaming?
We have good news for anyone who can’t go to the theater to see it my cop. The film will start streaming on Amazon Prime starting November 4th. While Amazon Prime is a subscription streaming service, it regularly offers free or low-cost trials.

The film shows her slow and painful realization of how deeply homophobia and classism permeate all aspects of her life.
don’t look now – This strange 1973 thriller directed by Nicolas Roeg and based on a story by Daphne du Maurier was one of the films my policemanDirector Michael Grandage asked his cast to watch the film before shooting. don’t look now follows a grieving couple played by Donald Sutherland and Julia Christie when they embark on a trip to Venice after the death of their daughter. Strange supernatural events lead the couple to believe they may be able to communicate with their daughter’s spirit, even as grief tears the couple apart.
