WWE returns to Philadelphia for the first time in October to host Extreme Rules.

The Wells Fargo Center, which hosted the 2019 event, will be the center of the wrestling world Ronda Rousey attempts to avenge her controversial loss at SummerSlam in a no-holds-barred match against Liv Morgan for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Also on the map are Seth “Freaking” Rollins and Matt Riddle continue their grudge play in the fight pit with a special guest referee and the UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Kormier.

For the first time in over 30 years, WWE is hosting an event in a UK stadium for the world to witness.

The 74,000 capacity Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales will be the epicenter of the wrestling world when Roman Reigns takes on Drew McIntyre in what is sure to be one of the best matches of 2022.

Not to be outdone by the evening’s main event, Liv Morgan is looking to follow up her SummerSlam win over Ronda Rousey with another win over a former UFC fighter in Shayna Baszler to defend her WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship title.

After a controversial win over Ronda Rousey in a rematch at SummerSlam, Liv Morgan finds herself in the ring against another established mixed martial artist in Shayna Baszlier, leading Raquel Rodriguez, Aliyah, Shotzi, Xia Li, Natalya and Sonya Deville on her way to the A defeated title shot.

While there’s no belt at stake in this matchup, there’s sure to be some bragging when Matt Riddle steps into the ring against Seth “Freakin” Rollins in the night’s main event.

After Riddle was due to throw down at SummerSlam, he withdrew due to injury, resulting in a postponement. However, he didn’t stay out of the limelight. A massive brawl on August 15 by RAW reignited the rivalry between the two Superstars, leading to Riddle challenging Rollins again to settle things once and for all at the WWE Clash at the Castle.
