Shantaram will be released worldwide on Friday 14th October 2022. The first three episodes of the series will premiere on the first day of release. After that, a new episode will follow every Friday until December 16, 2022.

How was the production for Shantaram?
Customization Plans Shantaram for the screen go back almost two decades. When the novel was first published in 2003, several parties expressed interest in making it into a film. Eventually, Warner Bros. bought the rights to the film and discontinued it Eric Roth to rewrite the screenplay based on the draft written by the novel’s author. Production was supposed to start in 2006 but things took a turn and plans started to be canceled in 2008.
swing for Shantaram Resumed in early 2018 when Paramount Television Studio and Anonymous Content bought the rights to the novel and adapted it for a television series instead of a film. Later in June, Apple Inc. announced that the series would be discontinued for Apple TV+. Casting soon took place in September 2019, with Hunnam, Roxburgh and Apte on board the project. Shantaram was primarily filmed in two locations, Victoria, Australia and Bhopal, India. Filming began immediately in October 2019 and was completed in mid-December 2021.
