With no premier league football this weekend, Our eyes are on the rest of the world as fascinating matches take place on Saturday and Sunday. From one of the greatest rivalries in the world, taking center stage in the Superclasico between Boca Juniors and River Plate Argentina on Sunday to Marco Rose, who will take over his first RB Leipzig Match against his former squad on Saturday Borussia Dortmund. Add to that Simone Inzaghi’s Milan seat is warming up after Inter have lost three of their last four games and there’s even added pressure to play with Turin. What are we keeping an eye on this weekend?

Here are the games:

5. Washington spirit against San Diego Wave

Date: Saturday September 10 | Time: 1 p.m. ET
TV: CBS | Live broadcast: Outstanding+

Why watch: With just three games left in the NWSL regular season, the San Diego Wave are trying to break away from the top-ranked Portland Thorns. Playing against Washington Spirit, who haven’t won a game since their season opener, should be a good time to pick up points, but Spirit’s games have been anything but predictable. Since losing to the Kansas City Stream In July, the Spirit have drawn four of their last five games, including a 2-2 and a 3-3, leaving the Wave with the best defense in the NWSL to keep on their toes. Alex Morgan also continues her bid to win the Golden Boot as this could turn out to be quite an intriguing tie.

4.Philadelphia union vs. Orlando City SC

Date: Saturday September 10 | Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
TV: No | Live broadcast: ESPN+
Caesars Sports Betting Odds: Philadelphia Union -185; Draw +310; Orlando city +490

Why watch: In pursuit of the Supporters’ Shield, the Philadelphia Union has become one of the best offensive teams in Major League Soccer. Eastern Conference leaders, the Union welcome Orlando City after the Lions lifted their first trophy in club history by winning the midweek Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. With Union coming into play with a short break, this is a chance for Union to score multiple goals in their seventh game in a row Daniel Gasdag chasing the MLS Golden Boot. But don’t let the flashy offensive numbers put you off, the Union have built up behind their defense a +42 goal difference that has allowed just 21 goals in 30 games. As Jim Curtin guides the team through a historic season, every remaining game is a must.

3. Inter Milan against Turin

Date: Saturday September 10 | Time: 12 p.m. ET
TV: No | Live broadcast: Outstanding+
Caesars Sports Betting Odds: Between -235; tie +375; Torino +600

Featured Game | Inter Milan vs Turin

Why watch: After disappointing losses AC Milan and Bayern Munich, Simone Inzaghi’s seat in Milan is getting warmer. When the side failed to improve after benching established players against Bayern, Inzaghi was left in a position where he cannot afford to lose to Torino, especially when players are like captains Samir Handanovic is set aside again for the duel. Unless the team improves, concerns of Inzaghi losing squad support and ownership will continue to grow. Torino won’t roll over either as they are sixth in Serie A and have already held Lazio goalless this season. Torino have struggled away from home which will give Inter hope.

2. RB Leipzig versus Borussia Dortmund

Date: Saturday September 10 | Time: 9:30 a.m. ET
TV: No | Live broadcast: ESPN+
Caesars Sports Betting Odds: RB Leipzig +135; Draw +290; Dortmund +185

Why watch: After Marco Rose was sacked by Borussia Dortmund in May, it didn’t take long for Marco Rose to find a new coaching position as he now takes charge of RB Leipzig. With his first game against his former club, it will be interesting to see how the former RB Salzburg manager succeeds. While Leipzig didn’t have much success with their last internal Red Bull line-up in Jesse Marsch, Domenico Tedesco didn’t have much success either as the team left their comfort zone. Gio Reyna could start for Dortmund after providing two assists for their Champions League win midweek, which is certainly good news for USMNT supporters.

1. Boca Juniors vs. River Plate

Date: Sunday September 11 | Time: 4 p.m. ET
TV: No | Live broadcast: Outstanding+
Caesars Sports Betting Odds: Boca Juniors +195; Draw +190; River Plate +126

Why watch: Boca and River may be having a bad season, but both are just four points from the top of the league. Boca are in good form with three straight wins, while River’s attack has gotten back on track after learning to adjust to losing Julian Alvarez and Enzo Fernandez in the summer. In one of the greatest rivalries of all sports, anything can happen when the Superclasico comes to town. And then there’s the possibility that with jobs in Brighton and possibly Seville Opening in Europe, River Coach marcelo Gallardo’s head could be turned by Europa.
