Get ready for a Pac-12 fight when the Oregon State Beavers and Stanford Cardinal take on Saturday at 11:00 p.m. ET at Stanford Stadium. Both teams lost in their last game, so they have enough motivation to get the “W”.
Oregon State found itself the reluctant recipient of an unlucky 42-16 punch in the gut against the Utah Utes last week. Certainly, the Beavers were aware of their 10.5-point deficit in scoring, but that prior knowledge did nothing to prevent the result. QB Ben Gulbranson had a pretty memorable game, throwing two interceptions with just 177 passing yards.

Meanwhile, Stanford took a hard hit last week when they lost 45-27 to the Oregon Ducks. Stanford was down 38-17 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. Stanford’s loss came despite a good play from RB Casey Filkins, who snapped one with TD.
Oregon State is the favorite in this event, with an expected 7-point winning margin. Those burned by picking them against the spread last week should consider that the team has yet to drop consecutive games against the spread this season.
