How to watch, stream, wager on Cowboys-Commanders Week 4 tilt

take four The Dallas Cowboys are surprisingly 2-1 in the young season. It’s surprising in that they got there after the season started and looked pathetic on offense against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while losing their starting quarterback. Cooper Rush took over and after an up and down (and up again) in 2022, he saw the lights out in Week 3 with a 23-16 win over the New York Giants. Now it’s off to Washington, or at least Washington is coming to Dallas.
The matchup against the Commanders will be their second straight NFC East fight and winning their Divisional matchups is key for Dallas. A 2-0 run without Prescott could be the difference between a title, a wildcard berth and missing the playoffs entirely. That’s what Cowboys fans should focus on, but they also need to figure out how to watch Dallas try to build a real winning streak. We’re here to help you with that, as well as some betting tips and insights into how each team will attempt to win the game.

Cowboy’s Key to Victory
Both got RBs Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard being involved early should help smooth things out for QB Cooper Rush against one of the worst rush defenses in the league. Dallas would do well to lay their hands on their passing rush and try to shake Wentz as quickly and often as possible to keep the commanders in a radio state in the early game. Pressure on the left side of defense should be the key.
Commanders Key to Victory
A strong start to the season was followed by big battles in the week 2 loss to the Lions and week 3 loss to the Eagles. QB Carson Wentz will need to show improved pocket presence and body clock after being fired nine times and fumbling twice a week ago. Find time to allow WRs Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel A clear second layer of defense is a must for the offensive line. The pass defense has to find solutions. They don’t seem to have rediscovered any of their 2020 magic under DC Jack delRio.
Matchup to watch
Commanders WR Terry McLaurin vs. Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs. McLaurin checked in with his first 100-yard game of the season in Week 3, but Diggs owned that matchup in 2021. On six goals head-to-head, he allowed McLaurin just one catch for 14 yards. Diggs had three pass breakups and one interception on those goals.
Who wins?
Even with a backup QB, Dallas appears to be the stronger squad.
Cowboys 24, Commanders 17.
