Preview of Day 1 of the Presidents Cup

The Presidents Cup is finally here! After an extra year of waiting due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are finally ready for a 2019 cup re-run. Back then, the US team recovered from an early deficit to win 16-14 at Royal Melbourne in Australia, led by the game captain Tiger Woods.

The US team is 11-1-1 in Presidents Cup history, and this year’s American team is an even bigger favorite than usual. Some of the international team’s best players are absent this year after being disqualified from the competition after signing with LIV Golf.

There will be five 2-on-2 four-ball games on Thursday, and it all starts this afternoon. Golf Channel will broadcast TV coverage beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET. You can watch all of Golf Channel’s coverage with Hulu + Live TV.
