How to watch the 2022 UCI Gravel World Championships: Live stream the events in Italy
The first-ever UCI Gravel World Championship takes place this weekend, with the rainbow ribbons being offered for surface racing for the first time. Now that we know who’s starting the race, it’s time to figure out how to view it.
It might be gravel, something new, but it should be an exciting race and the elite races will be featured and you can find out how to watch them anywhere with our handy guide and with ExpressVPN (opens in new tab).
On Saturday, 48 elite women will fight for the first world title in the discipline before 138 men do the same on Sunday. The women will race a 140km course with 69% gravel and 700m of elevation gain, while the men will tackle 194km with 800m of elevation gain. This race has 36% dirt roads, 18% hard gravel, 1% cobblestones, 17% hard surface and 27% asphalt.
It’s a busy race weekend with the gravel worlds taking place alongside Il Lombardia, Filippo Ganna’s Tendency for the Hour Record and Paris-Tours on Sunday, but whatever as GCN+ shows it all worldwide.
