Lifetime will premiere Saturday, October 1 at 8 p.m. after the premiere of “The Gabby Petito Story,” a new true-crime thriller based on the tragic disappearance and death of 22-year-old real-life travel blogger Gabby Petito Alongside the film, Lifetime will also air an hour-long documentary. Beyond the Headlines: Gabby Petito will chronicle the fatal road trip with her fiancé Brian Laundrie, who admitted to killing Petito in his notebook found near his remains after he ended his life.

The Gabby Petito Story will air October 1 at 8 p.m., and Beyond the Headlines: Gabby Petito will follow the film at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
