How to Watch The Good Nurse Starring Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne

Charlie Cullen seemed like a normal nurse to the average patient or employee. To the outsider, he had a loving family and a positive working relationship, and was just a friendly face to make the hospital stay a little more bearable. Cullen has been dubbed “The Angel of Death” after the full extent of his crimes were revealed. During his more than fifteen-year medical career, Cullen killed at least forty people, but further investigation indicated the number was likely much closer to the four hundred wrongful deaths he was responsible for. If this estimated number of murders is correct, it would make Cullen the most prolific serial killer in history, far surpassing even the most notorious mass killers. What makes Cullen such a terrifying figure is not only that he probably murdered hundreds of innocent people, but that he was in a realm where people trusted him with their lives and he abused that trust to save a sick one to satisfy selfish desires. Cullen was finally arrested in 2003 and is now serving multiple life sentences with a chance of parole in about three hundred years, but Cullen probably would have killed more were it not for the courage of one of his former colleagues, Amy Loughren. Loughren was just as shocked as anyone when she discovered that the unusually high number of deaths at her hospital could easily be attributed to Cullen, and she helped authorities gather evidence to start a case against him.
