How to watch USA vs Serbia
The women of the United States basketball Team is so good at it so far FIBA Women’s World Championship 2022 in Sydney, Australia.
As the quarterfinals approach Tokyo 2020 The Olympic champions are the tournament’s only unbeaten team (5-0) and they are now unbeaten for 27 consecutive World Cup games, setting a new FIBA record.
They also look like a good offensive force.
During their group game against Korea, the Americans dropped 145 points, breaking the previous FIBA World Cup record for most points scored by Brazil in a game against Malaysia in 1990.
Next up for the holders is a round of 16 match against Serbia, who are third in their group with three wins (France, Japan and Mali) and two losses (Canada and Australia).
After winning the last three editions and clinching their seventh consecutive Olympic gold medal in Japan, the USA arrived in Sydney as tournament favorites.
And that although without veterans Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, Sylvia Chicken and Tine Karlthe Americans kept that promise.
It will be their track record to spur them on ahead of their clash against the 2021 EuroBasket champions.
The two teams last met in 2021 in the semi-finals of Tokyo 2020, where the USA beat Serbia 79-59 before claiming gold.
Though Serbia will have some veritable threats on the alert Yvonne Anderson and Tina KrajisnikTeam USA has more than enough depth to crush the European team.
The winner of the world championship not only secures bragging rights, but also a place in the Olympic Games Paris 2024 That means everything has to be played on the way to the quarter-finals.
