After three wins in three competitions to kick off the 2022 World Junior Championship, Team USA will face their toughest opponent yet on Sunday when they face Sweden in the final match of the preliminary round.
On Saturday, the Americans beat Austria 7-0. Carter Mazur scored twice for the second day in a row while Player of the Match Wyatt Kaiser scored two of his own.
Sasha Pastujov, Matt Coronato and Red Savage also lit the lamp. Andrew Oke and Remington Keopple teamed to shut out the net.

The Swedes also record a shutout win over Austria to take the lead 6-0 in a Friday contest. Like the United States, Sweden are undefeated in Edmonton, securing two regular wins to take six points from a possible six.
