How trade deadline impacted 2023 and 2024 NBA Draft: Updated list of first-round picks for every team

The 2023 NBA trade deadline is in the rearview mirror and what a chaotic moment that was.

Rumors always heat up around trading season, but most of the time it feels like all is smoke and mirrors. This trading period was more like where there’s smoke there’s fire, with Superstars trading left and right.

It all started when Kyrie Irving was traded to the Mavericks, and the madness continued when Russell Westbrook was shipped off the Lakers in a three-team blockbuster. The NBA world was turned on its head later that night when All-Star forward Kevin Durant was traded to the Suns.

The frantic deadline resulted in 21 different trades and draft picks moving like crazy.
