Team Vitality and ALDI aim to take the French Bees players as far as possible in the competition. The company’s support demonstrates its desire to be an active partner in esports and its development. ALDI and Team Vitality are proud to introduce the first women’s Team Vitality roster and are committed to supporting the engagement of more women in the professional scene, as while more than 50% of gamers are women, only 6% of professional esports athletes are female* .
This launch of French Bees is reminiscent of ALDI’s claim to position itself as a committed partner in the esports sector and to actively participate in its development.
“We are very proud to present our first all-female team within Team Vitality. With this new academy project, we remain true to our strategy of identifying, developing and promoting talent. We hope that this team will go as far as possible in the competition and help pave the way for the further development of women’s sport in Francesays Fabien “Neo” Devide, President and Co-Founder of Team Vitality.
“There is no doubt that everyone has a place in esports, regardless of gender, age or status. As for the other teams we support, we want to work to encourage all profiles to self-fulfill and the French Bees will help shed light on the role of women in esports and gaming more generally! This sector is one of the favorite playgrounds of the younger generations, it can of course act as a vector for progress in terms of parity within society and we are committed to contributing to this movement‘ explains Anne-Marie Gaultier, Marketing and Communications Director at ALDI France.
