Usman Khawaja’s 60 balls from 147 helped set the 197 total in the first innings, making it an easy task for Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne.

Discussion points and analysis on Day 3 between India and Australia

Ashwin causes chaos early on

Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has made it his mission to shake things up in the third Test at Indore as Australia chase 76 runs to claim victory.

Ashwin conquered Australia batsman Usman Khawaja with the second ball of the day and cast some doubt on the visitors’ lineup.

Despite the weak pursuit, the spinner legend causes chaos out on the pitch, spinning the ball in tons and confusing Marnus Labuschagne.

Ashwin opted for a two-pronged approach before Labuschagne questioned the change.

The Indian bowler was then forced to return to his original lineup.
