Injustice 2: How to Clash

Clash returns in Injustice 2, and knowing how and when to use it can turn the tide of a fight.


A recurring feature of the predecessor is the Clash system injustice 2. It’s a combat mechanic that captures the feel of a battle between superheroes and supervillains. There is a similar system Dragon Ball Fighter Z – another fighting game that recaptures the feeling of beings with super powers in a power struggle.

As Dragonball FighterZ, injustice 2 is easy for beginners to learn while having a technical and rewarding combat system under the hood. Success comes down to timing and knowing when to attack, block, and use special moves like the Super Moves and the Clash mechanic in injustice 2. That’s not to say two inexperienced players can’t have a good time battling each other by button-pushing or sticking to the basics. However, always good injustice 2 requires the player to learn the techniques including the clash system.

Using Clash In Injustice 2

Activation of the Clash system

Collide injustice 2, follow these steps:

  • With at least two red health bars, press and shut R2/RT button to activate the consumption display.
  • Then press the D-Pad (or L-Stick) towards the opponent while coming to start the clash animation as a defender. With a Red health bar, the defender can regain his health if he wins the clash.
  • Push the D-Pad (or L-Stick) in the direction of the opponent to start the clash animation as the attacker. Damage is determined by how many Super Move bars are used.

As mentioned above, the Clash mechanic is in injustice 2 requires timing and knowing when to use it in combat. There is also an element of luck involved in winning a Clash event between two characters injustice 2. Players must determine how many bars of their Super Move to use to win the Clash.

The Super Meter is divided into four bars and players must guess and bet how many bars they will use in a clash situation. For example, if player one posts two Super Move bars and their opponent posts four, then player one loses the clash. If both players select the same number of bars, the clash is settled as a tie.

Using the Clash mechanic in injustice 2 can turn the tide of a battle or cost the player the entire turn or battle. Use it wisely as setting the wrong number of Super Move bars can be costly.
