Kevin Durant claps back at Charles Barkley for latest remarks in a long standing feud
Kevin Durant and Charles Barkley’s feud seems far from over. When Barkley slammed Durant during a recent interview, the Phoenix Suns superstar clapped back the TNT analyst.
Former NBA player Charles Barkley has earned a reputation as a critic. He’s known for making some hilarious comments about players and games on the Inside the NBA panel. However, his criticism often came from a place of experience, given his own reputation as a former NBA superstar.
Unfortunately, when it comes to Kevin Durant, his words often missed the mark. The Phoenix Suns superstar was often criticized by Barkley for not doing enough.
Though not much has happened on that front recently, it seems Barkley and Durant are still at odds with each other.
During a recent interview, Charles Barkley Durant commented by saying:
“He’s very sensitive. A great player. He’s of that generation that thinks you can’t criticize him. He never looked in the mirror and said, ‘Man, is that a fair criticism?'”
Barkley’s remarks appear to be well-intentioned. However, his words drew the ire of Durant, who responded to the comment on Twitter by saying:
“This isn’t going to be tiring, Chuck? I will never respect the words that come out of your mouth, Fam.
Durant has often taken a “devil may care” approach to situations involving critics. However, given the already existing dynamic with Barkley, Durant seemed particularly upset by the NBA legend’s comments.

The exchange became the latest addition to the long-running feud between the two basketball icons. Whether they will bury the hatchet sometime in the future remains pure speculation.
Charles Barkley’s criticism of Kevin Durant
Charles Barkley has made some pretty harsh comments about Kevin Durant in the past. However, given most events, Barkley hasn’t said much outside the realm of reality.
Comments that Durant can’t win as a “bus driver” are perhaps a little far-fetched. KD was one of the best players in the league during his time with the Golden State Warriors.
Aside from that, the dubs also boast one of the biggest rosters ever put together. So there is enough material for a discourse on this.
Although Durant tried to change that by moving to Brooklyn, the superstar faced injury and disappointment in the playoffs. This eventually laid the groundwork for the 2022 off-season trading drama that eventually resulted in a trade with Phoenix ahead of the 2022-23 trading deadline.
Overall, Barkley’s comments weren’t far off the mark. But Durant clearly saw the situation differently.
