- Bears will attack when you are within a certain range.
- Bear warning signs have been added across the map.
- Bear kill/damage stats are not displayed in profile summary, stats, game history, championship, and end of game.

THE RETURN OF THE MOONLIGHT
As the sun sets over the frost-covered lands, a beautiful aurora blossoms in the still darkness. The weather everyone has been waiting for – MOONLIGHT Mode – returned this update.
- Moonlight Weather appears randomly in matches.
- Available modes
- Only available in Vikendi.
- Normal games, custom games
NEW Scope: THERMAL 4X Scope
Do you remember LABS: Thermal Scope Mode, where you only had to fight with infrared rays in the dark? Well, we collected your opinions based on our previous experimental mode and decided to add the popular feature to the snowy squares: spot snooping players with the new one 4X THERMAL TARGET AREA! (Shouldn’t it be your best friend in the moonlight?)
- The Thermal Scope uses thermal signatures to help you spot hidden enemies more easily.
- This includes enemies hiding in smoke, darkness, undergrowth, etc.
- The Thermal Scope is a world spawn item.
- Available modes
- Only available in Vikendi.
- Training mode, normal games, custom games
- (PC) Available on every map in Sandbox mode.
ADDITIONAL UPDATES
- Supply Drops have been added to Vikendi Caverns.
- To add a little more realism to the recently added natural disasters, smoke and flames from thrown objects such as smoke grenades, Molotovs, etc. no longer work properly in the Blizzard Zone.
- Players who burst into flames also take no damage in the Blizzard Zone.
- However, you still receive initial damage when your body is hit with the Molotov.
- Players who burst into flames also take no damage in the Blizzard Zone.
- We noticed that the friendly Folded Shields seemed a little too hidden in the snow. We’re digging them up by increasing their spawn rate by about 172%.
- Item spawn points have been increased at the Train Station, Mansion, Castle, and Winery to further enrich the looting experience in different parts of Vikendi.
Karakin
- Adjusted surface/underground footsteps and weapon sounds to sound more distinct from each other.
WAY OF PLAY
- weapon balance
- We’re going to balance the Mk12 a bit in this update. Our graphs of weapon drop rate, kill rate, etc. showed us the Mk12’s outperformance over its other DMR companions. So we decided to make some healthy balance changes and adjust the Mk12 so that it’s still a helpful, hard-hitting weapon, but doesn’t overshadow other options too much.
- Damage: 51 -> 50
- Initial projectile speed: 930 m/s -> 900 m/s
- Recoil Recovery: Reduced by approximately 6%.
- Recoil Speed: Increased by approximately 2%.

- Weapon spawn balance
- We have adjusted the general spawn rates of 5.56mm and 7.62mm weapons (AR, DMR, LMG only) so that they have similar spawn rates and give our players more primary weapon options.
- This spawn balance applies to all maps and modes.

- Vehicle Customizations
- Zima has been slightly enlarged.
- Removed open top vehicle models like UAZ, Mirado and Pickup Truck as they made driver/passenger a little too vulnerable.
- Dacia and UAZ now spawn in Taego.
- Cases have been added to pickup trucks and UAZ.
- An option to hide your vest and belt in game has been added to settings.
- Inventory Link (Show/Hide Vest/Belt) UI available on PC only.
Developer comment >
We would like to add a few additional words about the removal of the roofless models of UAZ, Mirado and Pickup Truck. As we’ve been releasing and balancing many of our existing vehicles, we’ve noticed that certain vehicle models and types needed some cleaning up. That’s why we decided to stick with a single model for just the UAZ, Mirado, and Pickup Truck and leave their roofs open for better coverage.
KNOWN PROBLEM
- (Console) We are investigating the issue where the sounds of vehicles and certain weapons are not playing on the Xbox platform. Sound optimizations are ongoing and will be reflected in Update 22.1 and 22.2.
