Super Bowl MVP Co-Favorites
Mahomes and Hurts have led their teams to 16-3 records, which rank among the best in the NFL. The Chiefs and Eagles have also won the No. 1 seed in their conferences.
Hurts rushed for 3,701 yards and 22 touchdowns in the regular season and rushed for 760 yards and 13 points. He was selected to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his three-year career.
What might best sum up the value of hurts for the Eagles is that they start 16-1. They lost both games, which he missed late in the regular season with a shoulder injury.

Mahomes led the league with 5,250 passing yards in the regular season, more than 500 yards more than any other quarterback. Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers finished second with 4,739.
In addition, Mahomes threw NFL-high 41 touchdown passes. He was a first-time All-Pro for the second time in his six-year career and was selected to his fifth Pro Bowl.
Interestingly, Mahomes will be looking to break a 0-8 Super Bowl MVP trend in Super Bowl quarterbacks who were NFL MVPs this season.

Super Bowl MVP contender
There is a big gap between Mahomes, Hurts and the other choices on the board.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is the third pick at +1600. He is followed by Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown (+1800) and running back Miles Sanders (+2500).
Kelce was eighth in the NFL with 1,338 receptions in the regular season. He had 110 receptions, 12 of which were for touchdowns.
Jerry Rice is the only player in NFL history with more playoff TD catches than Kelce’s 15.

Brown’s 1,496 yards was fourth in the league and he had 88 catches while 11 TDs. Sanders rushed for 1,269 yards — fifth in the NFL — and 11 touchdowns on 259 carries.
MVP Longshot to watch
Linebacker Haason Reddick has had a stellar season for the Eagles.
Reddick had 16 sacks and a league-high five forced fumbles in the regular season. He added 3.5 sacks in two postseason games.
In the match against Chiefs right tackle’s Andrew Wyile, who has allowed nine sacks this season, Reddick could have a big game. It offers odds of +3400 and there are plenty of Super Bowl betting promotions and Super Bowl betting opportunities to get your NFL MVP and other Super Bowl antics this weekend.
Super Bowl MVP Prediction – Mahomes the Man
While there certainly isn’t much value at -130, Mahomes is the pick here to become the Super Bowl 57 MVP. Quarterbacks have won the honors in four of the last six Super Bowls, and Mahomes has the experience lead in Chiefs vs. Eagles picks as he’s playing in his third Super Bowl while Hurts will be in his first.
Choice: Patrick Mahomes +130
