Leicester 0-0 Arsenal LIVE! VAR rules Trossard goal out– Premier League match stream, latest score and updates
Arsenal have a strong chance of restoring their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points – even if it’s only for a few hours before Man City take on Bournemouth – if they travel to Leicester City today.
Since City’s 3-1 win at the Emirates 10 days ago, Mikel Arteta’s and Pep Guardiola’s sides have been at odds in recent days. But the Gunners were bolstered by the return of Thomas Partey to the matchday squad after struggling with a hamstring problem. Leicester have picked up just 12 points from 11 home games this season and are missing key playmaker James Maddison through illness.

live updates
34 minutes: Well Arsenal will feel they didn’t have the friction of the green here. First VAR ruled out Trossard’s goal for Ben White’s foul, then at Stockley Park the men ignored Saka’s penalty calls.
Both Saka and Arteta make amused figures. But it remains aimless.
31 minutes: Leicester had the ball in the net through Iheanacho just after Trossard’s goal was ruled out. But he was comfortably offside and the flag rightly went up.
Now Arsenal are demanding a penalty and want a VAR check themselves. It all happens…
NO GOAL
28min: The goal will not stand, much to Arsenal’s frustration.
That looked to me like a foul by Ben White. A silly one too, as I’m not sure it influenced Ward much. It’s a shame because that was a great finish from Trossard.
VAR check
Was there a foul on Danny Ward in the build? VAR checks that.
GOAL! Leicester 0-1 Arsenal | Trossard, 26
26 minutes: Martinelli has been very lively so far. He’s got those Leicester defenders on toast and it’s the last stuff from Brendan Rodgers men at times.
Arsenal had numerous corners. And that brings the goal! Trossard from the edge of the box, that’s a great finish.
24 minutes: Leicester enjoy a brief foray into Arsenal half thanks to a long leap into the field from Danny Ward, but the home side fail to hold the ball for long.
We’re back to Arsenal dominance for the most part.
22 minutes: The last ball so far has not been the right one from Arsenal. Saka was guilty of a bad cross with his right foot.
Statistics show that Arsenal have five shots (not on target). Leicester haven’t had one yet.
21 minutes: Arsenal are showing a lot more control today compared to Villa last week. Arteta will be happy about this start. You just have to create a clear opportunity.
19 minutes: Surprise, surprise, the corner is taken tightly by Arsenal. Martinelli half-cry for a penalty but in the end Leicester get a free-kick the other way after the ball was in danger again.
18 minutes: The traveling Arsenal fans chanted Jorginho’s name. He pulls all the strings from the deep midfield.
It’s a corner for the Gunners as the pressure continues to mount.
