Manchester United transfer news LIVE Qatar takeover latest plus Man United vs Leicester City win highlights
Manchester United’s fine form continued with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Leicester City at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Despite being under pressure for much of the opening period, United drew first blood in the 25th minute through Marcus Rashford, who broke the offside trap for an intelligent finish. The Reds rallied after the break and doubled their lead through their in-form striker who broke through Leicester’s defense again to score.
Just after the hour mark, Jadon Sancho completed a beautiful team move to secure victory and leave the Reds just five points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal. Progress on United’s takeover continues today after two offers were announced for the club over the weekend.
One bid is tabled by Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, while the other was tabled by INEOS owner and self-proclaimed United supporter Sir Jim Ratcliffe. At this point it is not known if other parties have applied to buy the club.

Ten Hag gets the reaction he wants from United
Two saves, two goals and two records. As Leicester broke through Manchester United’s zigzag backline, they met David de Gea’s wall. On the other end, Marcus Rashford shot Danny Ward like he was made of cast.
Rashford has officially scored his season-best 24 club goals with more than three months of game time remaining. Provided he avoids injury, he is poised to become the first United player to break the 30-goal mark since Robin van Persie 10 seasons ago.
De Gea is now level with Peter Schmeichel on 180 goals conceded, a feat equaled in what may be his most important performance of the season. Both Harvey Barnes and Kelechi Iheanacho’s denials are worthy inclusions in his long highlights role.
