Former NFL star Marcellus Wiley has said it’s not right for transgender women to compete against women in sporting events.

The former FS1 personality posted a TikTok Saturday expressing her views on the controversial infiltration of biological males like swimmer Lia Thomas into women’s sports.

Wiley, who was a Pro Bowl defensive end in 2001, said in the foreword that he had “no problem with transgender people,” but took offense that they compete in female sports.

“I have no problem with transgender people. I have an issue with athletes who are transgender and are trying to participate in a transition from male to female and are now playing with the women,” Wiley said.

“And that’s what I want to say. You all can try Dave Chappelle me as much as you want. I’m very clear. You can be transgender. You can be the homie, but I’ll be damned if a man turns into a woman at birth and tries to compete against my daughters. She’s not out there. we out

Wiley has three daughters, with his eldest Morocca, a former UConn track and field athlete.

“Don’t make this a human rights issue — it’s a biological issue. It’s that simple. Trust me, I’m a man.”

Although some sections of society demand inclusion when it comes to transgender sport, Wiley questioned why trans athletes didn’t seek to promote female empowerment and compete against men.

“Why can’t the guys who are transitioning to women actually empower women and compete against the men?

“Oh you don’t want that? Why why? Hello? anyone? Because it’s easier, damn it.’

To support his argument, the former San Diego, Buffalo, Dallas and Jacksonville defenseman pointed to the huge difference in men’s 100-meter world record times (9.58) and women’s (10.49).

“I hate to say it’s fair, but it’s just not right. Forget fair, it’s not right.’

Wiley isn’t the first former athlete to defend the tradition of women’s sport, with retired tennis champion Martina Navratilova branding trans athletes “cheaters.”

Jenner, former Olympic athlete Bruce, now Caitlyn, admitted Thomas has “a tremendous advantage over girls” she competes against, but has defended transgolfer Hailey Davidson’s attempts to reach the LPGA.
