Mariska Hargitay stars in Stuart Weitzman’s latest KidSuper shoe collaboration
Another day, another fashion collaboration… and the latest involves Mariska Hargitay and Stuart Weitzman.
The actress stars in the footwear brand’s latest campaign for a collaboration with clothing label KidSuper.
The Spring 2023 limited collection includes “wearable works of art,” according to Stuart Weitzman.
Pieces included pieces that reference the luxury footwear brand’s vision to create footwear that combines artisanal Spanish craftsmanship and precisely engineered fits to empower women to be strong.
Inspired by powerful women, KidSuper tapped Hargitay, who plays Captain Olivia Benson in police drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, to help bring the new capsule to life.
The Stuart Weitzman x KidSuper collection comes to life in a campaign film titled “The Shoe-in” directed by Onda. During the short clip, Hargitay leads an eclectic group of New Yorkers on a heist to prevent an artwork – one of the pieces featured in the capsule – from falling into the wrong hands. There are also cameos from NYC personalities like rapper Big Body Bes and DJs Angel + Dren, as well as Stuart Weitzman Head of Design Edmundo Castillo.
“I loved working with two New York powerhouses — one of my favorite shoe brands and a truly inspired up-and-coming designer,” Hargitay said in the Post. “The whole idea of collaborating to create wearable pieces of art designed to infuse you with playful confidence hooked me from the moment I heard about it.”
She added, “I had a blast filming the campaign film The Shoe-In – and of course I wore these fabulous shoes that make me swoon.”

The exciting new line features seven pieces that are a mix of booties, sandals, pumps, loafers and silk scarves. Prices start at $195 and everything is available on Stuart Weitzman’s website.
Each item features KidSuper founder Colm Dillane’s artwork, which depicts scenes from a subway platform and an image of a mother and child.
“I like doing unexpected things and expanding the KidSuper universe,” Dillane said of the collaboration in a statement, creating my own version of paragraph – it was a dream.”
