Mayweather vs Chalmers: Fight start time, undercard, prediction, ring walks and latest betting odds tonight

It’s the final stop on the Mayweather Money Tour following his defeat of YouTuber Deji at a bizarre event in Dubai last year.

His newest assignment is Chalmers, best known for his role on the MTV show Geordie Shore. The 35-year-old had seven MMA fights and joined Bellator in 2017, although the last was three years ago when he was beaten a second time.

Chalmers has since moved into the boxing ring, with his only professional fight resulting in a points win over Alexander Zeledon last year.

Mayweather, 50-0 as a pro and completely untroubled in this series of exhibition bouts, was originally set to face Liam Harrison but the Leeds Muay Thai fighter pulled out injured.

Mayweather vs Chalmers date, start time, venue and ring walks

Mayweather vs Chalmers takes place tonight 25th February 2023 at the O2 Arena, London.

The ring walks for the Main Event were scheduled to take place around 22:00 GMT, although as always these times are subject to change depending on the undercard.

Mayweather vs Chalmers purse

Fight funds for Saturday’s fight have not yet been officially confirmed, but Mayweather is in for another big payday.

Mayweather was paid in the region of £28m for his show against Deji last year, while taking home around £15m when he stopped Japanese mixed martial artist Mikuru Asakura in the second round at Saitama in September.

Fight prediction between Mayweather and Chalmers

Here we go again.

Chalmers has at least some fighting experience, although to say that this is a step up from his one previous professional fight would be an understatement.

Against Deji, Mayweather spent most of the night dancing and showing off, only really getting involved when he was first caught.

This will likely last at least a couple of rounds as well, assuming Mayweather is happy to play along and Chalmers doesn’t goad the American.

Somewhere towards the end of the planned eight rounds, an interruption is to be expected.

Results of the weigh-in between Mayweather and Chalmers

Mayweather skipped the official weigh-in on Friday afternoon and instead weighed in privately. It was claimed that he weighed 155 pounds.

Chalmers was slightly heavier at 161 pounds and insisted his opponent’s non-appearance didn’t worry him.
