NBA Summer League championship 2023: Score, result, stats for Rockets vs. Cavaliers final in Las Vegas

After 11 days of action, the NBA 2K24 Summer League in Las Vegas has come to an end.

The Cleveland Cavaliers (5-0) took on the Houston Rockets (5-0) in the championship game, with both teams going into the Finals with unbeaten records, but it was the Cavaliers who emerged victorious with a comfortable 99-78 win .

The win marked the Cavs’ first Summer League title since the tournament format was introduced in 2013.

Isaiah Mobley was named Summer League Championship Game MVP with a dominant performance on Sunday, notching up the win with 28 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks.

Sam Merrilll added 27 points on 6 of 12 from the 3-point line while Emoni Bates added 19 points.

After some back-and-forth in the first half, the Cavaliers took control of the game in the third quarter, scoring the first 11 points of the second half and comfortably leading 62-44 in a 21-point win.
