NFL Combine measurements 2023: Hand size, height, weight & more for Bryce Young, other notables
The 2023 NFL Combine is here, marking the next big step leading up to the 2023 NFL Draft. As always, it becomes important.
As much as some slander the NFL Combine, it’s an important process in talent evaluation. NFL scouts and general managers have already spent countless hours poring over prospect films, but now they can see how prospects stack up against each other from a physical perspective.
These measurements may not be as important as the tape measure in determining a quality prospect. However, it will help NFL evaluators assess which prospects meet certain benchmarks typically required to find NFL success and which do not.

One of the most important measurement combinations this year comes at the quarterback position. Scouts and general managers are wondering exactly how tall potential No. 1 pick Bryce Young is and exactly how he weighs. He can measure at or under 6-0, but if he can tip the scales heavier than the 194 he was listed at during his time in Alabama, that would be a win for him.
Elsewhere, players like Andre Carter II and Darnell Washington will seek to prove their superb frames are built for NFL-level success. If they measure and work well, it helps them earn a supply.
