NFL odds Week 5: How to bet Seahawks-Saints, pick

The New Orleans Saints are looking to extend their winning streak against the Seattle Seahawks to four games if the NFL Teams meet in Louisiana on Sunday.

The Saints lead the all-time streak 9-8 thanks to winning three games since 2016. The Seahawks won the last three games before that.

Here’s everything you need from a Seahawks-Saints game betting perspective, from point spread, moneyline, total over/under and expert picks (odds via FOX Bet):

NO

The Seahawks have won 4-2 against the spread (ATS) in their last six games.

Seattle has hit the over in the over/under (O/U) five times in their last seven games.

The Seahawks are 1-4 in their last five games in New Orleans.

The Saints have hit the under in the O/U eight times in their last 11 games.

New Orleans has won 1-6 (SU) in the last seven home games.

The Saints have hit the over in the O/U seven times in their last eight games in October.

Choose over the FOX Sports Betting Analyst Geoff Schwartz:

Seattle is definitely entertaining, and they might actually be good, folks. After four weeks, the Seahawks’ offense ranks #1 in the NFC. Yes, you read that correctly.

As per Expected Points Added (EPA), the Hawks are slightly ahead of the Eagles, but they faced only one (Lions) defense that allowed 35 points per game. On the other side of the ball, Seattle ranks at the bottom end of the NFL defensively. What does that mean for this week? Well, New Orleans isn’t healthy, and it doesn’t play very well either.

The Saints defense was ranked 26th in the DVOA when they entered their game against the Vikings in London and they lived up to that ranking. The Vikings were able to move the ball but stalled too much in the red zone and threw five field goals in a 28-25 win.

The Saints must now travel back from London and will look to get their quarterback, top running back and top receiver back on the field to take on a determined Seahawks team. I like to take the points early on with the Seahawks at this point.

PICK: Seahawks (+5.5 on FOX bet) to lose (or win outright) with less than 5.5 points
