Nicola Peltz Dresses Like Victoria Beckham Amidst Fued Rumours

In an unlikely turn of events, Nicola Peltz Beckham seemingly finds her place in the Beckham family, despite rumors of a feud brewing between the 27-year-old actress and matriarch Victoria Beckham.

While we’re not sure if her hatchet is well and truly buried, Nicola appears to be putting the rumors behind her and starting to star as her mother-in-law. If you can’t beat them, you can join them.

While out for lunch with her husband, rumored chef Brooklyn Beckham, in Beverly Hills, the newlywed debuted a fresh new aesthetic that can only be described as a tribute to Victoria and David’s finest era of style: Y2K.
In images you can see here, the Peltz-Beckhams clearly reference the fashion and sports magnates, channeling the energy of the great “Posh & Becks.”

Infusing Victoria’s style with a SoCal chic, Nicola performed in a low-rise mini skirt, plain black tee and ’90s-inspired black patent platform mule.

If you hadn’t told us this was Nicola, we could have easily believed we were seeing a rare photo of Posh’s pop star off-duty style from her Spice Girls days.

It’s not clear if Nicola actually searched Victoria’s closet for this look or is just metaphorically mimicking her style, but with her oversized rectangular sunglasses and black headband, she proves to be Victoria’s double.

After all, what’s the point of having one of the most stylish women in the world as your mother-in-law if you can’t steal her style?

And what’s a Victoria Beckham look without the perfect David to complete the aesthetic?

Luckily for Nicola, Brooklyn had that part covered.

Approved in 2008, Brooklyn paired white linen and baggy jeans to complete the ensemble with what appears to be a pair of chunky DC sneakers (thank goodness menswear evolved from the crime of the early 2000s).

Of course, this sartorial cosplay shouldn’t surprise us, considering Brooklyn and Nicola have been teasing this Y2K comeback for quite some time.

Ever since Nicola swapped her signature beachy blonde tresses for a darker brunette hue, the pair have been testing the waters with Posh & Becks-themed ensembles.

Let’s not forget Brooklyn and Nicola’s recent red carpet appearance, in which Nicola lent her own spin to Victoria’s quintessential pant suit.

Neither the Bekchams nor the Peltz Beckhams have commented on the similarities between their latest ensembles, but we’re here for this very zero-value tribute.

As you’ll recall, Victoria and David Beckham were regulars in the social circles in the early 2000s, with their mating couple moments being a mainstay in the tabloids of the day.

Well, it appears that Nicola and Brooklyn are taking on that mantle (and her looks).
