Nine other notable players were dealt on NBA Trade Deadline Day

The NBA Trade Deadline 2022-23 took place on Thursday. Obviously, Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant were the two biggest names trading as of the reporting date. However, there were some other notable movements. Here are nine players who have averaged at least 10.0 points per game this season and who have been traded.


9) Jalen McDaniels–Philadelphia 76ers

The Federal Way, Washington small forward was involved in a three-way deal involving the 76ers, Charlotte Hornets and Portland Trail Blazers. McDaniels went from Charlotte to Philadelphia. Shooting guard Matisse Thybulle went to Portland from Philadelphia. Svi Mykhailiuk and two draft picks went from Portland to Charlotte.

McDaniels averages 10.6 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game and two assists per game. He has a .447 field goal percentage, a .322 three-point percentage, and a .846 free throw percentage.


8) John Wall-Houston missiles

Wall, a Raleigh, North Carolina native, was involved in a three-way deal involving the Rockets, the Memphis Grizzlies and the Los Angeles Clippers. The five-time All-Star with Washington previously played for Houston in 2020-21. In 34 games with the Clippers in 2022-23, he had 11.4 points per game, 5.2 assists per game and 2.7 rebounds per game. Wall, a point guard, had a .408 field goal percentage, a .303 three-point percentage, and a .681 free throw percentage.

7) Josh Richardson – New Orleans Pelicans

Richardson, a native of Edmond, Oklahoma, was traded from the San Antonio Spurs to the Pelicans for Devonte’ Graham and four second-round picks. The Pelicans are Richardson’s sixth team. In addition to the Spurs, he played with the Miami Heat, the 76ers, the Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics. In 42 games with the Spurs, the shooting guard had 11.5 points per game, 3.3 assists per game and 2.8 rebounds per game. Richardson had a .436 field goal percentage, a .357 three-point percentage, and a .883 free throw percentage.


4) Jakob Poeltl-Toronto Raptors

Poeltl, a native of Vienna, is returning to the Raptors after playing in Toronto from 2016-2018. In 2022-23 with the Spurs, he has 12.1 points per game, nine rebounds per game, 3.1 assists per game, a field goal percentage of .616 and a free throw percentage of .605. Poeltl, a center, was traded by the Spurs to the Raptors for center Khem Birch, a first-round pick in 2024, a second-round pick in 2023, and a second-round pick in 2025.


4) Bone Hyland – Los Angeles Clippers

Hyland, a native of Wilmington, Delaware, who was on the NBA All-Rookie team a year ago, was traded from the Denver Nuggets to the Clippers in 2024 and 2025 for second-round selection. In 2022-23, the guard is averaging 12.1 points per game, three assists per game and two rebounds per game. Hyland has a field goal percentage of .399, a three point percentage of .378, and a free throw percentage of .866.


4) Thomas Bryant-Denver Nuggets

Bryant, a native of Rochester, New York, was traded by the Los Angeles Lakers to the Nuggets in 2025, 2026 and 2029 for Dazu Reed and a second-round pick. The Nuggets will be Bryant’s third team after four seasons with the Washington Wizards and two seasons with the Lakers. In 2022-23, the center is averaging 12.1 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game, a .654 field goal percentage, a .440 three-point percentage, and a .741 free throw percentage. While he was with the Wizards in 2018-19. Bryant led the NBA with a two-point percentage of .685.


3) Mason Plumlee-Los Angeles Clippers

Plumlee, a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was traded from the Hornets to the Clippers for Reggie Jackson. The veteran center is off a career year as he averages 12.2 points per game, 9.7 rebounds per game and 3.7 assists per game, all career highs. He also has a .669 field goal percentage and a .605 free throw percentage. Plumlee previously played for the Brooklyn Nets, Trail Blazers, Nuggets, Detroit Pistons and Hornets.


2) Eric Gordon-Los Angeles Clippers

Gordon, a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, was involved in the John Wall deal mentioned above. As part of the deal, the Clippers got Gordon, a shooting guard, from the Rockets and three second-round draft picks. The Rockets got Wall from the Clippers and Danny Green from the Grizzlies, and the Grizzlies got Luke Kennard from the Clippers. Gordon previously played for the Clippers, Pelicans and Rockets. He originally played for Los Angeles from 2008 to 2011. In 2022–23, Gordon averaged 13.1 points per game, 2.9 assists per game, and 2.1 rebounds per game, along with a .439 field goal percentage, a three-point percentage of . 347 and a free throw percentage of .815.


1) Saddiq Bey–Atlanta Hawks

Bey, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, was involved in a four-way trade involving the Hawks, Golden State Warriors, Pistons and Trail Blazers. Bey, a small forward, went to Atlanta from Detroit. The Warriors acquire Gary Payton II from the Trail Blazers and five second-round draft picks. The Pistons acquire James Wiseman from the Warriors and the Trail Blazers acquire Kevin Knox from the Pistons and five second-round draft picks.

Bey averages 14.8 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game, and 1.6 assists per game. He has a field goal percentage of .404, a three point percentage of .345, and a free throw percentage of .861.
